Dr. Bernard Rupnarain is currently in private practice in the field of Periodontics and Implants. Dr. Rupnarain is also an Assistant Clinical Professor at New York University College of Dentistry. He has been teaching and doing research in the field of Periodontics for the past 28 years.

He received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from King George Medical College, Lucknow in 1981; his Master of Dental Science (MSD) in Periodontics from the University of Wales College of Medicine, Cardiff, Great Britain in 1987; and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery, New York in 1995.

He is a member of the American Dental Association and an Active member of the Northeastern Society of Periodontists and the American Academy of Periodontology. He is also a member of the OKU Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Rupnarain is the author of several innovative presentations and publications in his field.
